Baseball Recap: Buffalo Bison vs. Hopkins Royals
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Buffalo and Hopkins had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bison walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Royals on Wednesday. The Bison haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

CALEB JOHNSON tossed a big game, tossing 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
At the plate, DOLEN BRISK was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was COLE LINDBERG, who earned one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.
Buffalo's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Hopkins, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Meanwhile, Hopkins will square off against rival St. Michael-Albertville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
