Basketball Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

Canton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 59-47 to the Mabank Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-44 back in December of 2024.

Canton's record now sits at 13-12. As for Mabank, their victory bumped their record up to 14-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Van the next time they take the court. Canton will host Van at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Mabank will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
