Baseball Recap: South Sumter Victorious

South Sumter had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Newberry Panthers on Tuesday.

Gabe Sabilona was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double. Another player making a difference was Tyson Lake, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

South Sumter didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Dunnellon on the 6th. As for Newberry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-2 win against Crystal River on the 10th.
