Baseball Game Preview: Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE vs. Hope Blue Wave

The Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE will challenge the Hope Blue Wave at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Blackstone Valley Prep came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Woonsocket, falling 13-5.

Meanwhile, Hope unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central on Saturday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Blackstone Valley Prep couldn't quite get it done against Hope in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 5-0. Can the PRIDE avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
