Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Christian Patriots vs. Raleigh HomeSchool Hawks

The Liberty Christian Patriots will challenge the Raleigh HomeSchool Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Raleigh HomeSchool likes a good challenge.

Liberty Christian fought the good fight in their overtime game against Alamance Christian on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 100-92 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (70), the Patriots still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Raleigh HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 76-56 to Central Carolina Prep. One positive for the Hawks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Liberty Christian's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5. As for Raleigh HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
