Basketball Recap: Grand Forks Central Takes a Loss

Grand Forks Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 67-58 to the Minot Magicians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Magicians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Grand Forks Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Minot, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Grand Forks Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 84-77 victory against East Grand Forks on the 30th. As for Minot, they will square off against Williston at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
