Basketball Recap: Augusta E Wins Going Away Against Trinity Prep

Augusta E's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They strolled past the Trinity Prep Lions with points to spare, taking the game 54-35.

Jude Brouwer went supernova, dropping a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds. His morning made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Ethan Quarles was another key player, going 6-for-15 on his way to 14 points along with five boards and three steals.

The victory got Augusta E back to even at 1-1. As for Trinity Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Augusta E wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 79-43 win against Faith Christian Academy on the 6th. As for Trinity Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Monsignor Donovan Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th.
