Basketball Recap: Alyvia Banks Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Fostoria Baptist Academy

Juniata Christian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They strolled past the Fostoria Baptist Academy Crusaders with points to spare, taking the game 28-9. The Eagles pushed the score to 24-3 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crusaders cut but never quite recovered from.

Juniata Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyvia Banks, who posted 12 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Alayna Coulter, who put up eight points.

The victory got Juniata Christian back to even at 1-1.

Juniata Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Community Baptist Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Fostoria Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
