Softball Recap: Cardinal Newman Comes Up Short

Cardinal Newman lost against Jupiter back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crusaders came up short against the Warriors, falling 12-1. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cardinal Newman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karis Taleff, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Cardinal Newman's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Jupiter, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Coming up, Cardinal Newman will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Oxbridge Academy at 4:30 p.m. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the ThunderWolves have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. As for Jupiter, they will head out to face off against Dwyer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
