Volleyball Recap: Denver Waldorf Spartans vs. Non Varsity Opponent
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thomas Jefferson, Denver Waldorf was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against Non Varsity Opponent by a score of 2-0.
Denver Waldorf easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18.
Tucker Loegler-Haig paced Denver Waldorf's offense, picking up eight kills. Loegler-Haig got some help from Cayden Quinn and his 22 assists. Loegler-Haig was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.
Denver Waldorf's victory bumped their record up to 13-3.
Coming up, Denver Waldorf will take on D'Evelyn at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will head out to square off against Pocono Mountain East at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
