Recap: Stockton Tigers vs. Trego Golden Eagles
The Stockton Tigers lost against the Trego Golden Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Stockton had to suffer through a rough 49-21 loss at the hands of Trego. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Stockton in their matchups with Trego: they've now lost eight in a row.
Trego's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tegan Lang, who scored 12 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lang has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Makenna Flax, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Stockton has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-3 record this season. As for Trego, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stockton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lincoln on January 30th.
