Fleming entered their tilt with Hi-Plains on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Fleming walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-20.

Leading Fleming to victory were Brooke Schaefer and Hayley Chamberlain. Schaefer had 16 digs and one assist, while Chamberlain had 14 digs and three aces. Chamberlain is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Fleming's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Hi-Plains, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-3.

Coming up, Fleming will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Weldon Valley at 5:30 p.m. As for Hi-Plains, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against McClave on the 4th.
