Kennedy has no trouble against Linden

The Kennedy Knights won the last time they faced the Linden Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Kennedy walked away with a 46-37 victory over Linden. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Kennedy has managed all season.

It was another big night for My'Shayla Clancy, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Kennedy's points. Another player making a difference was Zahniya Castillo , who scored nine points along with ten rebounds.

Kennedy's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Linden, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-3.

Kennedy will finish 2023 at home by hosting Nutley at 11:50 a.m. on Thursday. Linden will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ferris at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
