Basketball Recap: Carrboro Jaguars vs. Western Alamance Warriors
Carrboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 74-70 heartbreaker at the hands of the Western Alamance Warriors. One positive for the Jaguars, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bakari Watkins, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. The game was Watkins' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Kanjorski, who posted 13 points and eight assists.
Even though they lost, Carrboro was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
