O'Gorman and Washington are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Washington will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: O'Gorman extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Knights blew past Watertown 56-26. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Arrows are ranked 109th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Washington against Pierre T.F. Riggs on Saturday as the team secured a 54-22 win. Those 54 points were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for O'Gorman, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Everything came up roses for O'Gorman against Washington in their previous meeting back in February of 2025, as the squad secured an 87-60 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
