Basketball Recap: Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles vs. Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes

Hilton Head Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes at home by a 54-39 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 78-67 back in November.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coastal HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alijah McField, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 18 points in addition to five assists and five boards. McField is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Eli Jenkins, who went 6 of 11 en route to 14 points and five rebounds.

Hilton Head Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Coastal HomeSchool, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
