Basketball Recap: KIPP Houston Takes a Loss

If KIPP Houston was riding high fresh off their 44-22 takedown of Varsity Opponent back in November, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Kerberos had to suffer through a 73-41 loss at the hands of KIPP Sunnyside. The loss was the Kerberos' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, KIPP Houston fell to 3-1.

Coming up, KIPP Houston will take on Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. KIPP Sunnyside will be paying especially close attention to KIPP Houston's matchup: after KIPP Houston faces off against Varsity Opponent, they'll take on KIPP Sunnyside again at 7:00 p.m. on January 12, 2026.
