Volleyball Game Preview: Williams Field Black Hawks vs. Higley Knights

Williams Field is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Higley is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Black Hawks will welcome the Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Friday, Williams Field made easy work of Queen Creek and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Higley got the win against Gilbert on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

Higley is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 20-3-2 record this season. As for Williams Field, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Williams Field came out on top in a nail-biter against Higley when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Black Hawks repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
