Volleyball Recap: Randle Find Success

Randle proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since August 14th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Randle who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-14, 22-25, 15-8.

Fort Bend Dulles lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Calleigh Self, who had six kills and two aces.

The victory got Randle back to even at 7-7. As for Fort Bend Dulles, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Coincidentally, Randle and Fort Bend Dulles will both be playing Dickinson the next time they take the court. The Vikings will head out to face the Gators at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 3:15 p.m.
