Basketball Recap: Taylorsville Warriors vs. Stansbury Stallions
Taylorsville scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Stansbury Stallions 57-52. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stallions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, Taylorsville had strong showings from Destiny Harrison, who went 9 for 17 on her way to 21 points and five assists, and Jeweliana Martinez, who posted nine points. Harrison's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Kwagee Nayic was another key player, putting up eight points.

Taylorsville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 74-49 loss against Olympus on the 10th. As for Stansbury, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-51 victory against Ogden on the 10th.
