Volleyball Recap: Mount Tabor Comes Up Short

Mount Tabor managed to slip by Page the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Mount Tabor came up short against Page on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Spartans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Mount Tabor still got an impressive performance from Kerry Donahue, who had 22 digs, 12 kills, and two aces. Donahue is crushing it when it comes to kills: he's had at least five every time he's taken the court this season. Leone Pipponzi was another key player, getting 18 digs and one block.

Mount Tabor now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Page, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mount Tabor is set to take on their familiar foe Glenn at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Page will face off against rival Reagan at 6:00 p.m. on April 11.
