            Volleyball Preview: Western Pioneers vs. Los Amigos Lobos        
        
		
        
        
            The Western Pioneers will head out on the road to  take on  the Los Amigos Lobos  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Western is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last seven games.
On Friday,  everything went Western's way against Magnolia as Western made off with  a  3-0 win.
 Western was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12,  25-21.

 Western can attribute much of their success to   Byron Miranda, who  had 15  digs and one assist, and   Nathaniel Dumangas, who  had four  digs and three  aces. Miranda is  crushing it when it comes to  digs: he's   had at least 11 every time he's  taken the court this season.  Kyle Brock also deserves some recognition as  he  posted his first  assist of the season.
 Meanwhile, Los Amigos came up short against Bolsa Grande on Thursday and fell  3-1. The Lobos have struggled against the Matadors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.
 Western's victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Los Amigos, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
