Soccer Game Preview: Fort Bend Elkins vs. Ridge Point

Fort Bend Elkins hasn't had much luck against Ridge Point recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Fort Bend Elkins Knights will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Ridge Point Panthers at 7:30 p.m.

Fort Bend Elkins is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Frenship on Saturday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Ridge Point fell victim to Strake Jesuit and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Fighting Crusaders, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fort Bend Elkins' draw gives them a new season record of 2-4-1. As for Ridge Point, they now have a losing record at 1-2-1.

Fort Bend Elkins might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from Ridge Point in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Fort Bend Elkins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
