Basketball Recap: Midlothian Comes Up Short

Midlothian lost against Powhatan back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Midlothian Trojans fell 46-39 to the Powhatan Indians. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Midlothian's record is now 2-10. As for Powhatan, they moved to 9-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Midlothian will venture away from home to challenge Clover Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Midlothian is facing Clover Hill at the right time seeing as Clover Hill is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Powhatan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richmond City School of the Arts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Considering Powhatan has lost four straight at home and Richmond City School of the Arts three straight on the road , this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
