DeAmor Coleman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Matea Gaddies was a standout: she scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Valeria Cuevas, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Bethel came up short against Justin-Siena on Monday, falling 25-9. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mia Espinoza made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI. Dakari Washington was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Salesian College Preparatory, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

It's a different story for Bethel, though, as they've been averaging only 2.8 strikeouts. Will Salesian College Preparatory keep running through batters, or will the Jaguars buck the trend?
