Softball Recap: South Pointe Comes Up Short

South Pointe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Hill Bearcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-7 two weeks ago.

South Pointe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Rock Hill, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12.

South Pointe has already played their next game, a 12-9 loss against Camden on the 16th. As for Rock Hill, they will challenge Fort Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
