Lane had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 44-43 photo finish over Edison. The 44-point effort marked the Knights' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Lane pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.8 points. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Lane will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jamaica at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Edison will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
