Football Game Preview: Southside Tigers vs. Emerald Vikings + Official Tickets

Southside is 0-4 against Emerald since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will challenge the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Southside has given up an average of 41.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Southside's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Laurens on Friday. They were beaten by the Raiders 58-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 44 points the game before, Emerald was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by Westside and fell 43-7. The matchup marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Emerald now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Southside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Southside was dealt a bruising 51-12 defeat at the hands of Emerald in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 31-6.
