Eaton has won three straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Pueblo Central has won three straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. Eaton is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after opening their season on the road. They received a blow on Friday as they fell 28-14 to The Classical Academy. The Reds haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Although Eaton took the loss, they still got scores from Cooper Nider and Max Blaskowski.

Even if they lost, Eaton's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Bryer Barr was especially locked on to The Classical Academy's QB and sacked him twice. Barr's also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making five total tackles.

Meanwhile, Pueblo Central earned a 41-34 victory over Discovery Canyon on Thursday.

Genaro Pino was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Pino wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Pueblo Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 366 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 158 rushing yards in 12 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
