Volleyball Recap: Lawrence Takes a Loss

Lawrence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Revere Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Lawrence ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-21.

Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Revere, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Lawrence will square off against North Andover at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Revere, they will challenge Lynn Classical at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
