After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Long Beach Poly, Saint Joseph was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the St. Anthony Saints with a sharp 15-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Jesters, who have now won nine matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Eris Garcia made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk).
