Volleyball Recap: Grosse Ile Takes a Loss

Grosse Ile was the 2-0 winner over Trenton when they last played one another back in October of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans on Saturday.

Grosse Ile dropped their record down to 13-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Trenton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Grosse Ile has already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against River Rouge on the 25th. As for Trenton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Edsel Ford on the 25th.
