Basketball Recap: Clarkson/Leigh Patriots vs. Madison Dragons        
        
		
             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Humphrey-Lindsay, Clarkson/Leigh was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They came out on top against the Madison Dragons by a score of  58-48. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their 30-point performance the  matchup before.
  Kyle McMullin went supernova for Clarkson/Leigh,  shooting 7-for-9 from long range and  dropping  a double-double on 30 points and 13  rebounds. The dominant performance also gave  McMullin a new career-high in  three-point shooting accuracy (78%).  Tucker Matthies was another key player,  earning 15 points plus eight  rebounds and six  assists.
 Several Dragons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Bodonn Sweeney, who  earned nine points plus seven  rebounds and two  steals. Another player making a difference was  Gabriel Campos, who  earned 11 points.
 The  victory  got Clarkson/Leigh back to even at 1-1. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
 Clarkson/Leigh and Oakland-Craig are set to duel  on Tuesday. Madison has  already played their next  game (against Clarkson/Leigh), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
