There's no place like home for George Washington, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Skyview Wolverines on Saturday as George Washington made off with a 13-6 victory. The Patriots' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Henry Kuntner, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He also snagged a stolen base, marking his first of the season. Joseph Wiederholt was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

The win got George Washington back to even at 2-2. As for Skyview, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

George Washington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 20-0 victory against Kennedy on the 18th. As for Skyview, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vista PEAK Prep at 4:00 p.m. on the 25th.
