Baseball Recap: Cobre Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Cobre's offense. They came up short against the St. Michael's Horsemen on Friday, falling 27-0. The Indians lost against the Horsemen in their previous head to head back in March of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 15-11 score last time.

Cobre saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emilioh Madrid, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Cobre's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for St. Michael's, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Cobre wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-10 defeat against Sandia Prep on the 4th. As for St. Michael's, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-2 loss against Vista Del Futuro on the 4th.
