Volleyball Recap: Northpoint Christian Trojans vs. Battle Ground Academy Wildcats

With a playoff game on the line, Northpoint Christian rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

One reason for the win was Northpoint Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-19.

Hassie Clare Thurman was nothing short of spectacular: she had 21 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last 13 games she's played.

Northpoint Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are a perfect 10-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Northpoint Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 36-6 record this season. As for Battle Ground Academy, they moved to 22-6 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
