Volleyball Recap: Juneau-Douglas' Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Juneau-Douglas saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Haines Glacier Bears.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13.

Gwen Nizich paced Juneau-Douglas' offense, picking up five kills. Nizich got some help from Liliane Veikoso and her seven assists.

Juneau-Douglas' loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-11-4.

Juneau-Douglas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Barrow on the 4th. Haines does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
