Volleyball Recap: Parlier Comes Up Short

Parlier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Wolves when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-9, 25-15.

Wonderful College Prep Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Khobie Magana, who had 13 assists and seven aces. Those seven aces gave Magana a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Selena Rico, who had three digs, two aces, and one block.

Parlier's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Parlier will head out to take on Farmersville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mira Monte at 6:00 p.m.
