Recap: ThunderRidge Grizzlies vs. Legend Titans
The ThunderRidge Grizzlies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 56-41 fall against Legend. While losing is never fun, ThunderRidge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Legend is ranked second).
Several Grizzlies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Becca Winton, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Alexis Baker, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
ThunderRidge has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Legend, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
ThunderRidge will head out on the road to challenge Highlands Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Legend, they will be playing at home against Legacy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
