Baseball Recap: Willow Canyon Has No Trouble Against Holland Hall

While Willow Canyon didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Holland Hall Dutch with a sharp 8-2 victory on Monday. Considering the Wildcats have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Micah Larsen looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Ethan Patrick was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Willow Canyon has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Holland Hall is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Willow Canyon has already played their next contest, a 9-8 win against Silo on the 17th. As for Holland Hall, they will take on Timnath in a tournament on Tuesday. Timnath will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Holland Hall surely won't give up without a fight.
