Basketball Game Preview: Trotwood-Madison Rams vs. Aiken Falcons

The Trotwood-Madison Rams will square off against the Aiken Falcons at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Trotwood-Madison comes in on 17 and Aiken on four.

Trotwood-Madison is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 67-51 win over Badin.

Meanwhile, Aiken posted their closest victory since December 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They slipped by La Salle 56-55. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Lancers are ranked 65th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Trotwood-Madison pushed their record up to 24-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Aiken, their victory bumped their record up to 25-1.

Trotwood-Madison came out on top in a nail-biter against Aiken in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 78-76. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trotwood-Madison since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
