Volleyball Recap: Mitchell Comes Up Short

Mitchell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crawford Rams. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Rams when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14.

Mitchell's offense was headlined by Kate Pieper and Reese Sauer, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Kapri Stover and her six assists.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Crawford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Mitchell will square off against Lingle-Fort Laramie on the 25th. As for Crawford, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Gordon-Rushville on the 16th.
