Basketball Recap: Lindale Comes Up Short

Lindale suffered their biggest loss since November 21, 2024 on Friday. 2025 welcomed they with a 46-25 loss courtesy of the Canton Eagles. Lindale hasn't had much luck with Canton recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Lindale's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-11. As for Canton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Lindale will square off against Mabank at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canton, they will venture away from home to challenge Kemp at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Kemp: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Canton has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
