Football Game Preview: Ogden vs. Pocahontas

Ogden will take on Pocahontas at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Ogden faltered in their match last Friday. They were given a punishing 0-54 defeat at the hands of South Central Calhoun. Ogden were down by 0-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

As for Pocahontas, Pocahontas had a rough outing against Alta/Aurelia two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Pocahontas were gifted an easy win last Friday as Eagle Grove wound up forfeiting 0-2.

Pocahontas's victory lifted them to 2-3 while Ogden's loss dropped them down to 3-2. Two forfeits in a row aren't very likely, so Pocahontas better be ready for a battle.
