Basketball Recap: Wahlert Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Wahlert won the last time they faced Washington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wahlert Golden Eagles came out on top against the Washington Warriors by a score of 59-51. The win was some much needed relief for the Golden Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Wahlert's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Washington, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Wahlert didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-62 loss against Decorah-North Winneshiek on the 1st. As for Washington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-61 defeat against Jefferson on the 31st.
