Volleyball Recap: Wartburg Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wartburg Central lost against Harriman last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 3-2. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Blue Devils since Tuesday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Wartburg Central sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 19-25, 25-23, 20-25, 15-13.

Wartburg Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Harriman, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Wartburg Central will face off against Coalfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harriman, they are taking a road trip to challenge Clarkrange at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
