 It was a good run, but  Kingman Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Kingman Bulldogs by a score of  4-3. Kingman Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kingman apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in February.
  Rilee Otto made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  doubles,  and  an  RBI. He hasn't dropped below two  stolen bases for five straight games.  Gavin Hopper was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  triple and a  run.
 On Kingman's side,  Taelon Thomason made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Thomason was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Thomason wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Albert Lopez, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
 Kingman Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Kingman, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record  this season.
 Kingman Academy will head out on the road to  challenge  St. John Paul II Catholic at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. Kingman Academy is facing St. John Paul II Catholic at the right time seeing as St. John Paul II Catholic is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Kingman, they will be playing at home against Parker at 3:45  p.m.  on Saturday. The timing is sure in Kingman's favor as the  team sits on four straight wins at home while Parker has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
