Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Maysville

Maysville extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Jordyn Watson. The Maysville Panthers breezed past the Claymont Mustangs to the tune of 74-35 on Friday with plenty of help from Watson, who shot 69% from the field to rack up 28 points. What's more, he also posted an 83% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January.

Gator Nichols was another key player, putting up 15 points and three steals. The contest was his 24th in a row with at least 15 points.

Maysville's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Claymont, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Maysville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-57 victory against East Liverpool on the 25th. Claymont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
