Balboa's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Galileo Lions by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in March.

Balboa had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-17, 26-24, 26-24.

Balboa has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-13 record this season. As for Galileo, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

As of now, neither Balboa nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
