Ten must be Peru's lucky number: they beat North Miami with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Tigers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Warriors a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Tigers have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Lucas Musser was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Peru is 6-1 when Musser posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Reis Bellar, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Peru always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive games.

Peru's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for North Miami, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-4.

Coming up, Peru is taking a road trip to take on Northwestern at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Miami, they will challenge Caston at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Comets have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season.
